How to learn Reiki.
To learn reiki the student must first find a reiki master teacher to learn from whom they feel comfortable with and then they attend a reiki 1 course which is normally taught over a weekend. They will receive an attunement which is what connects them to the reiki energy and they will then always be able to channel this energy to heal themselves and others even if it has not been used for years it is always there. The attunement is a powerful experience it can feel very gentle and loving, some people see colours, or feel light headed, warmth or cold, tingling while others feel nothing but whatever you feel during an attunement it works just as well. Having the reiki attunement raises your vibration, it begins to clear out lower and negative energies and balance your whole being. Reiki is a wonderful gift for yourself and your growth and healing.
There are 3 attunements for each level, the first Reiki 1 connects you to the energy so you can use it to heal yourself and it is for your personal growth and self healing. The second attunement for Reiki 2 is the practitioner level and teaches you to heal others, it intensifies the healing energy and develops your healing knowledge and skills. The last attunement is Reiki 3 you receive the master symbol and more advanced healing techniques, you can then go on and learn to attune others to Reiki this is the Reiki Master Teacher level.
